As if we haven't had enough transformation this past summer, it seems rumors are flying around Wall Street and the internet regarding HP's board thinking about letting Leo go.
Oh, it gets better.
Seems the board is thinking about getting Meg Whitman of EBay fame to lead Mother Blue.
WOW!
"...Ms. Whitman, 55, described H-P as "a Silicon Valley icon that is the process of reshaping itself." She acknowledged that the Palo Alto, Calif., company "has certainly had challenges" and that "time will tell" how it fares, but she added, "I'm optimistic about H-P's future..."
The names are not that important.
Even this apparent 'leak' isn't all that important.
What is significant is how the perception of disarray is allowed to seep out to the public. And if true, what does this tell us about the general mental state of mère de bleu?
