Food has become more expensive...
Shelter has become more expensive - can you not see...?
How much short-term pain will you be required to sustain?..decades worth?..
"For your own benefit. Remember that..."
They are all wrong. More importantly, articles like these are nothing more than propaganda. Did Musk ever say WHY he evolved into a less harsh position? Isn't it possible this was the plan all along? -GRW
No matter how you feel about climate change, human impact on the planet, and who is to blame - step out of your beliefs for one second and consider the effect of a system dictating behavior for an entire planet.
Is this what you want?

Musk reversed the company's existing work-from-anywhere to least 40 hours per week.
✨But why? He examines profit and loss. Old Twitter CEO, allowed his employees to work from home, and Twitter was losing $4 million per day!
Many CEOs are coming to the same side:
πNetflix
π Apple
πWall Street Journal
π JP Morgan Chase
What is their reasons?
❌It doesn't work for spontaneous idea generation
❌ It doesn't work for healthy culture
❌ It is harder to build and transfer institutional knowledge if someone leaves, the organization suffers.
π§Harvard Business Review journal agrees with these CEOs.
π Observing work by others can lead to a phenomenon called goal contagion.
π It strengthens the sense that you share a common mission.
ππ»♀️What do you think? Remote, Hybrid or at Office?

My responses -
❌It doesn't work for spontaneous idea generation" - Wrong.
Ideas have no boundaries unless created in an office.
❌" It doesn't work for healthy culture" - Wrong.
Culture isn't impacted by remote work when remote work is the culture.
❌" It is harder to build and transfer institutional knowledge if someone leaves, the organization suffers". - Wrong.
Institutional knowledge = indoctrination into existing, bloating workflows and stifling the creative process. Fewer employees will leave when they can work remote.
Netflix, Apple, Wall Street Journal, JP Morgan Chase: Do any of these vaulted organizations have independent proof supporting the above?
For the recorded, I think anything less than fully remote as an option is at best fool's errand at worst, a manipulative gambit.
