Musk Goes Off - Hates Work From Anywhere

Musk just went OFF on #WFA.

"...people should get off their moral high horse with that work-from-home bullshit..." - yeah, he said that.

If been watching him for a few weeks(not in a creepy way & I am not a fanboy) he presents as a person who thinks more than he talks and I hadn't seen him emote until this session.

"...you're gonna to make everyone else who made your car come work in the factory... you're gonna tell the people who make your food that they can't work from home... the people that come fix your house they can't work from home but you can... does that seem morally right? That's messed up..."

Now to be fair, a few minutes before he says all this, he explains how he could sell Telsas for no profit, but look forward to a 5x profit from his EVs in the future.

Huh? What?

Autonomous driving.

While you may average an hour a day in the car - if you go to an office to work - the other hours, an estimated 50, your EV sits in a parking lot. Musk's idea is to have your Tesla provide taxi services AUTONOMOUSLY. While you get off your high horse to file papers in your cube, next to that person who eats egg salad sandwiches for lunch, your Model X is out earning revenue to be split between you and Tesla.

Of course, this assumes that you and millions of others actually GO TO AN OFFICE. His business model doesn't work if you do it from home.

So yeah, he's got a passionate view of the #WFA movement - he doesn't like it and will drop the 'immoral' and 'guilt' cards on you in a blue flash, a blink of an eye.

I don't hold the same view - but then again, I don't have a Rocket...or build cars...or know the precise differences between nickel and cobalt in the battery discussion - Tesla's don't use cobalt, BTW.

I'd love to have a conversation with him about WFA, specifically, the ability to work from Mars. #WFMars @elonmusk

See him go off at the 30min mark.
