Logitech's 'forever mouse' could mean peripherals go the way of coffee beans, TVs, and printer ink by pushing a subscription

Another turn of the screw - the subscription screw, the Wheel.

Monthly revenue is never easier when the cost is less than a cup of coffee each month - spreadsheets, letters, documents, and presentations are all part of the MS world, at 10 bucks every 30 days -

Forever.

Cloud and server tech has long since brought about the dominance of software as a service (SaaS), and it now looks like our beloved peripherals could be heading in the direction of other subscription products such as coffee beans, TVs, and printer ink.

The end is near, the move BACK to shrink wrapped, buy once, use forever model is sneaking into re-existence.

The worm turns.
